THE LAW OF AGENCY
Washington State Law requires that all real estate agents provide buyers and sellers with a copy of the pamphlet; "The Law of Real Estate Agency" before they start providing real estate services.
This pamphlet clearly outlines the duties and responsibilites under the law of real estate practitioners to their clients and customers. It also defines when and who a real estate agent represents and their duties to that client or customer.
If your real estate agent does not provide you with a copy of this pamphlet, ask for it. It is your right under the law.
